How can you follow something
happening in your brain?

Guidance counselors in schools always tell kids “Follow your dreams” and approximately 99% of those kids never grow up to achieve anything. Why is that? Because “Following your dreams” is pure horsecrap. Why would you follow your dreams? That’s creepy. You shouldn’t tell kids to follow their dreams like stalkers. Dreams don’t go anywhere, they’re in your head. If you want to get ahead in life you have to jump on top of your dreams and ride them to success. Following dreams is a passive thing to do and it puts the wrong attitude in kids’ minds. In today’s world you have to be proactive to make a difference and that requires more than trailing behind your stupid dreams. Dreams don’t last forever. In time they dissolve into thin air. When that happens there’s nothing left to follow and you’ve gotten nowhere.
