When a hobo approaches you at a bus stop he sometimes offers you a hit of his crack pipe and after you politely decline he says “I don’t take no for an answer.” I can’t believe people still say this. If you don’t take no for an answer then basically what you’re saying is you’re a rapist. If you’re telling the truth then that means whenever you offer sex to someone it happens whether they want it to or not. That’s what a rapist is and it’s nothing to be proud about. So you’re either a rapist or a liar when you say “I don’t take no for an answer.” More likely you are just a liar because there are other non-sexual situations where you simply have to take no for an answer. Whether it’s from a bank when they decline your application for a mortgage loan or from a guy at a bus station who really doesn’t want to smoke any of your crack rock. Sometimes we all have to accept negative replies to our propositions. If you say this cliched phrase and you still think you’re a good person then the answer is NO.
