Dumbass Sayings: "You're Only As Old As You Feel"

up feeling like babies. That
doesn't make them young.

A very popular saying with old people is "You're only as old as you feel!" Well that's a load of horse crap. If this was true then it could be legal to marry a child who felt 30-years-old but thank god that's not true. It's just not true. It doesn't matter how old you feel. The only thing that matters is the date of birth on your birth certificate.

It's not true literally either. If you grab the body of an 80-year-old woman she could say she's 20, but when you FEEL her you know she's every day of 80. The skin just has that texture that lets you know, this person is old. Add that to the degenerated muscle tissue and fragile bones and she's not fooling anybody. Age can't be changed. You are how old you are. You can feel however you want, but that doesn't affect your age. Shitting your pants can make you feel like a baby again, but that doesn't mean you have your whole life ahead of you.
