Supporting The Right To Have Extra-Marital Affairs

Dave paid the ultimate price.
The now former Director of the CIA Dave Petraeus resigned after admitting he had an extra-marital affair. I think that it's sad and outrageous that we live in a world where a man OR woman feels pressure to leave their job after it's discovered they've cheated on their spouse. The act of getting married doesn't/shouldn't bind you when it comes to your rights of free speech or the right to bear arms, so why should it affect your right to shoot ball icing in a strange lady's pooncavern? It's not even technically an illegal act, but you wouldn't know it by the way people react to it in this day and age. This type of thing happens all across the globe in far less civilized countries and it's totally allowed, but in America it's forbidden and taboo? What are we, heathens?! It's time to step into the 21st century and realize that some individuals just can't help but sleep with people besides their wife or husband and anyone who's ever experienced that urge knows it's not so much of a choice as just a natural impulse. We need to stop denigrating and punishing people for being the way nature intended and start supporting extra-martial affair rights. We need to support freedom and stand up for the right to live how you want no matter what antiquated "societal rules" it might violate. It's the year 2012, get with the picture, folks!
