Dumbass Sayings: “I’ve Fallen And I Can’t Get Up”

When an elderly person falls in their home when no one is around do they make a sound? Yes. They say “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” The real question is why do they say this? Why not just scream for help? First of all you’re alone so there’s no point to waste energy saying or yelling anything. You should reserve your energy and harness it to shimmy on the floor next to a chair or something so you can pull yourself up. There’s really no reason to be so explanatory when you fall and can’t get up. If someone walks in and sees a 90-year-old woman laying on the ground they don’t need an explanation in order to help. Obviously they can’t get up. You don’t just walk by a fallen elderly person and figure they’re just taking a load off with a broken hip. You would assume they’ve fallen and can’t get up. It’s just a pointless sentence that has no place in life.

"Bitch, why you trippin'?"
