The Top 5 Worst Songs To Listen To While You Work Out

Picking the right music
for exercise can be tricky.
Everyone knows that listening to music makes working out easier. For whatever reason when you hear the right song it can really help you exercise in the same way it might inspire you to start dancing. That being said, there are some songs out there that are not as conducive to physical exertion. Here’s a list of five songs that you shouldn’t listen to while you work out. The moods of these songs are just wrong for exercise and a lot of them will make you cry which is not what you want at the gym. You don’t wanna be the guy who weeps uncontrollably with his iPod on while doing squat thrusts. That’s just weird. Anyways, here’s the list. I shouldn’t have to explain why I chose these songs, just listen to them:

5. “Oh Girl” by The Chi-Lites

4. “New York, New York” by Liza Minnelli

3. “Heal The World” by Michael Jackson

2. “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” by Elvis Presley

And the number one worst song to listen to while you work out is…

1. “Tiptoe Through The Tulips” by Tiny Tim

The others are sort of dramatic songs, but this one is unsuitable for workouts just because it creeps people out. If you’ve ever seen the looks on people’s faces when you’re blasting this song while screaming doing bench presses then you know what I’m talking about.
