This was a really creepy ad that targeted children who had been abandoned by their families. While Sunbeam did capture most of the “Lost souls” market, they ultimately lost that market as more and more orphanages opened up to take these children away. Please note the creepy attempt at hypnosis at the very end of the commercial.
